Abstract

The tradition of humorous prose writing in Urdu is quite long. From the beginning to the modern era, humorous prose writing has been experimented with intellectually as well as artistical and stylistical.  Ata-ul-Haq Qasmi is also one of the prose writers who rose to prominence in terms of prose and style.He used Punjabi words in Urdu prose along with other experiences in an excellent way. The use of Punjabi words has reflected Punjabi culture and civilization in his Urdu prose as well as stylistic refinement. Through this article and attempt has been made to study the Style of his prose in content of Punjabi wordings.
