An Analytical Study of “Adhay Udhooray Khwab” in Contemporary Political Context

Shahid Siddiqui’s novel “Adhay Udhooray Khwab” has three basic context: political, educational and social. The writer has his clear stance on the issues and has creatively embed his view in the story of the novel. He can feel the pain of the people struggling for a better future and pursuing their dreams of freedom and justice in the society. The story of the novel has a contemporary context in which social movements are on rise and political temperature of the society is very high. The article is an attempt to analyze the novel in the contexts mentioned above.
