A Critical Analysis of "Sunblistan-e-Tafta" and "Boostan-e-Saadi"

Munshi Har Gopal Tafta, the poet of "Sunblistan" and an inhabitant of Sakandar Abad, was a pupil and close frient of Ghalib Dehlvi. He used to write Persian verses and rarely in Urdu. According to the author of "Subh-e-Gulshan" Tafta wrote five Dewans and every Dewan consists of nearly thirteen thousand verses.
Sunblistan, apart from preface, has thirteen chapters as under:
On Piety; on Elegance; on Jealousy; on Condemnation of Devil; on Poetry; on Truth fullness; on Treachery of Woman; on Condemnation of Meanness; on Passionate love; on Death; on Revenge; on the Author and the End of Book.
In this article "Sunblistan" and "Boostan" have been critically examined and analysed with special reference to:
(a) Poetic style of Tafta and Saadi.
(b) Ethical ideas of both the poets.
