Cocept of " Alamat-e-ula " in the poems of Jeelani kamran

Abstract

Jeelani Kamran was a great teacher, author, critic and poet of modern era. As a poet he has a distinguished locality and identification in modern urdu literature specially in urdu poem. He can also be called as the founder of ''NEW POETRY MOMENT''  as his poems induced the poets to non traditional new langual experiences.He wrote about 35 books  comprising poems and some uncertain geners.As a founder of  the specific ''NEW POETRY'' soon he turend his art towards SUFISM  and longed for the national identification in a new way of art by his poems.He primairly wrote sufi devotional poems and also passible the modern english literature, so his poems are influnced by the contemporary European literature as well as seek for the roots of humanity and spirit. In this article I have tried to throw light on his theosophical conceptions which appears in the form of '' AALAMAT-AOULLAA'', in his poems. He wanders  in the clew of  GOD like a saint , desires to meet him and describes  his theosophical travel in the form of poems.This article is a glimpse of his travel in the form of poem.
