Abstract

The tradition of ‘’Bara Masa’’in Hindustani literature is centuries old. Its 1st impressions can be seen in ‘’Sanskrit’’ and ‘’Upp Bharinsh’’ literature, where the human appendence with weather conditions not only  brings out the colors of  natural beauty but also brings forward the situation of human existence and society, after Sanskrit & Upp Bharinsh , these traces of Bara Masa are seen in regional dialects even this Bara Masa brings forward the most prominent and prosperous example of  Bara Masa in the form of  Afzal’s ‘’Bekatt Kahani’’ in the seventeenth century AD , which properties later on becomes the rules for Bara Masa. Between the beginning of Sanskrit, Upp Bharinsh and the heighten of  Afzal’s Bara Masa a noteworthy name of Persian poetry appears in the form of Masood Saad Salman Lahori, who is considered as a genius of Persian poetry, but inspired by Hindustani Literature .He also has created Bara Masa in his own style and idiosyncrasy in Persian language. It’s a unique and prominent but the only example of Bara Masa in Persian literature. In the tradition of Bara Masa, Masood joined the Sanskrit, Upp Bharinsh literary tradition depicts the human connections with seasonal colors and harmony instead the writhe of a discontented, grieving women. In his Bara Masa not only the months are spinning points of human activation but the days of months are also considerable under different qualities of human moods which are reflected in the mirror of colorful nature. In this article it has been tried to show the glimpse of Masood Saad Salman’s Bara Masa under the influence of Sanskrit Upp Bharinsh tradition of Bara masa.
