Abstract

Correct and complete citations and references are essential to honesty in research and to crediting the original author for his work. A correct and complete citation entry procedure not only gives credit to the original researcher, editor, or author for his work but also facilitates new researchers and makes the research process easier. This article identifies some of the issues related to citation and referencing, along with a detailed discussion of citation requirements and their order.
