Abstract

Moulana Inayat Ullah Dehlvi is placed amongst those Urdu Translators who took up the field of Urdu translation in an Era where there was no regular and integrated tradition of the art of translation. In the present study of an investigation and article analysis of Moulana Inayat Ullah Dehliv, a prominent figure associated with Dar-ul-Tarjuma Hyderabad Deccan. His Work is "masterclass transposition." This means he didn't just change the words; he successfully shifted the entire cultural and emotional context of Shakespeare’s plays into an Urdu setting while maintaining the original's soul. He utilized "Taksali" Urdu, which refers to the most authentic, standard, and refined version of the language spoken in Delhi. This choice of dialect gave his translations a sense of authority and classical beauty.

He used heavy and literary terms like "Mudaakhlat-e-Beja (Undue interference)" "Jura't-e- Rindana" (Bold audacity). capturing a specific type of fearless, almost reckless bravery.

He also uses Honorifics elements in his translation which represent the Honor, respect and politeness.
