Hayatullah Ansari’s Understanding about Rashid

Abstract

Hayat-ul-Allah Ansari is the well-known short story writer. His writings having psychological treatment and about the Sigmund Freud School of Thought.  Hayat ul Ansari is also a critic of Literature. In 1945 he wrote a book on Noon Meem Rashid named “Noon Meem Rashid par”, which is the first critical psychological analysis in the shape of book. Here his work on Noon Meem Rashid is presenting with an overview. This meta criticism will show the critical approach and standard of Hayat-ul-Allah Ansari, as well as the creativity and contribution in Urdu literature of Noon Meem Rashid. Although Ansari painted Rashid’s poetry in negative way and criticize with closed heart and narrow approach. It is a time to analysis the last literary criticism era, because such critical overviews will help to show the real pictures of art and will also support to build a new standard and rebuild new rules of criticism.
