The Concept of “Other” and Critic's Opinions

Otherness is an ambiguous term that originated in the writing of Hegel(1770-1831) and was later developed in the psychoanalysis of Lacan in the theory of Alterity, G.C.Spivak Has described it in a post colonial way because those people having no identity, no desire, no freedom in the result of British domination are put in the circle of "Alterity" Dr.Iqbal afaqi describes that those people having no social rights and no politcal rights are the marginal people. In these people these are homosexual, women abnormal peoples and the slaves are oppressed by a dominant and powerful authority.
Foucaclt connects it with the power and describes in his book "the Archeology of knowledge" that peoples of different ages are oppressed with the laws of power, lack of basic facilities and by giving them the name of "Abnormal", Edward said in “Orientalism” also describes the difference of lower and higher level, he also shows the unhappy behavior of west because they thought. We are the supreme and other are the rested material.
A question remains in a poor peoples mind that why do they hate us?, These all names are given to get the benefits of for dominant authority. They introduce the languages, lawas and culture to control them and this is done to exploite the third world and by them the name of "Outsider"
